When you register or deregister your place of residence with your local registration office, you will be issued with an official registration certificate as proof.
You cannot apply for the official registration certificate. It will only be issued to you when you register or deregister your residence.
The official registration certificate contains your surname, first names, academic title, date of birth, date of moving in or out, date of registration or deregistration, address and a note indicating whether the property is your sole residence, main residence or secondary residence.

Procedure
To register, you will usually need to visit the registration office in person. The registration office will record your new details and provide you with a printout of the information. You must confirm that your details are correct and complete by signing the printout.
You will then receive written confirmation in the form of a free official registration certificate.
For online registration of residence at :
- Access the online service.
- Log in to the online service using your user account.
- You enter all the required details online and submit the form online.
- Finally, you will receive an official confirmation of registration electronically.
Deadlines
You must register your new address within two weeks of moving into your new flat.
If you are moving out of your flat and are not moving into a new flat within the country, you must deregister within two weeks of moving out. You can deregister no earlier than one week before moving out.

You do not need any separate documents for the official confirmation of registration. You will be given this by the relevant registration authority once you have registered or deregistered, or it will be sent to you electronically (in the case of electronic registration of residence).
