Report first-time employment of persons in home work
Home workers and persons engaged in cottage industries within the meaning of the Home Work Act, as well as persons who, because of their need for protection, are treated as equivalent to persons engaged in home work, are subject to special statutory protection provisions.
Anyone wishing to employ persons with home-based work for the first time must notify the competent body.

- Intermediate foremen and forewomen
- other persons of equal status
Procedure
In order to monitor the protection provisions, principals who wish to employ persons in homeworking for the first time must notify the competent body.
If you submit the notification to the competent body online, please complete the associated form in the section "Online application" step by step online and submit it online at the end. The form wizard provides you with help texts to explain the individual form fields. You will receive a confirmation and a completed PDF form for your records.
